december stiffs.

It's the final round-up of celeb stiffs in 2009, let's hope their relatives kept the receipts for the Christmas presents.

December saw the death of Brazilian television announcer and voice actor Luiz Lombardi Neto, famous world wide (well to readers of this blog at least) as the announcer for the Silvio Santos Show alongside Soap luminary Maggie Jones, best known for playing bespectacled bombshell Blanche Hunt in Coronation Street, Doctor Who guest star (and all round true Brit) Richard Todd and The Sweeney boss Haskins; actor (and part-time ginger cat) Garfield Morgan.

Staying in dear old Blighty, December also saw the death of Marianne (but not Ian) Stone, the actress best known for her roles in nine Carry On films as well as appearances in Oh! What a Lovely War, Brighton Rock and the first two "Quatermass" movie adaptations. Joining her at the pearly gates was another Who guest star Donald Pickering.

Mr. Death also robbed us of the scarily large breasted Brazilian presenter, journalist, actress and porn star Leila Lopes as well as puppeteer and creator of Barney the Dinosaur Mark Ritts and American motion picture screenwriter, director and occasional actor Daniel Thomas "Dan" O'Bannon, the man behind Alien, Return of The Living Dead, Dead and Buried and the all time classic Lifeforce as well as famously being name-checked in the unproduced Bridle/Loydon sci-fi epic Angel City.

Across 'the pond' as they say saw the Grim Reaper snatched away sensually smoothof thigh and kissable of lips actress and singer (kinda) Brittany Murphy and the voice of Top Cat himself, comic actor Arnold Stang.

Rock fans of the world were also in mourning last month due to the death of the co-founder of the rock band Fujifabric, Japanese singer and musician Masahiko Shimura.
