She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra which is the daughter of Shakti Kapoor actor and Shibani Kapoor actress in Bollywood films. She is the cousin of Hindi film actress Padmini Kolhapure .
In 2011 her debut starting film she worked with Amitabh Bachchan, Raima Sen and Madhavan are Teen Patti movies. Her latest releasing movie Luv Ka The End in Yash Raj Films productions banner and she acting with opposite newcomer actors Taaha Shah.
