Sneha is all smiles now, as she is happy about the passing of Women's Bill in Parliament. The actress feels India has taken a giant leap towards the welfare of womenkind with the historic Bill.
"Many say these days' women have achieved everything. But it is just a myth. Though our country has a woman President and a woman Speaker, rural women are lacking in many things. We have to reach them as soon as possible," she says.
"The sight of rural women carrying pots on one side and their kids on the other worries me a lot," the actress says and adds: "Something has to be immediately done to address all these things. It's everyone's duty."
Expressing happiness about the passing of Women's Bill, Sneha says, "Real empowerment of women is achieved only when they realise their potential and become part of a prosperous society. Hope that the Bill would go a long way in making them realise their capabilities."
