Dhanush, Tamannah new movie "Vengai" songs shooting progressed in Kuala Lumpur

Dhanush and Tamannah are in Kuala Lumpur to shoot a song sequence for Vengai. Word is that music director Devi Sri Prasad has done such a fantastic job that director Hari wants to make sure that the song sequences are a standout feature in his film. One romantic song has already been shot in beautiful Munnar and this song is going to be a foot-tapping, dream sequence with some superb dance moves put together by ace choreographer, Brinda.

Mapillai (2011) Movie - Dhanush and Hansika

A Tamil comedy drama film directed by Suraj, starring Dhanush, Hansika Motwani and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles. The film is an enhanced remake of the 1989 film of the same name, which starred Rajinikanth and Amala in the lead role.

Vengai is a film which has Dhanush and Thamanna in the lead roles. Raj Kiran is donning an important role in this film. Hari is directing this film. I will show that place itself as Tirunalveli or Tuticorin. Now that place has become like my native place. The rituals they do during the marriage or child birth and for all the good and bad things are so wonderful. Dhanush has also become as if that place is his native place. For the first time Dhanush is acting in my film.

For a very long time, I like him very much. We cannot say anything about wrong about his acting. I was little scared whether he will suit in this film because he use to act in romantic films directed by his brother. But after seeing Polladhavan and Padikadhavan, I saw his growth. Immediately I felt that I should utilize him. I caught him at the right time. I got hold of him tightly and embraced him.

I am going to take him to my place. So I told him that you will miss your family and children for one month and asked him to pamper his kids. With regard to the heroine Thamanna, I have not told the story to any of my heroines. I will send my assistants to them. But in the case of Thamanna, I sat with her for three hours and narrated the story to her.

I wanted to bring a brave effect to her role who is scared of cockroaches and lizards. I told that how she should transform herself to extend of wielding a sickle. Though she is a Mumbai girl, she understood the role and we will be to extract the work from her."

Dhanush turns Movie Director

A long time dream of Dhanush is turning a reality now. The actor, toeing the line of his father Kasthoori Raja and brother Selvaraghavan, is all set to become a director, however for a short film initially.
And joining hands with Dhanush in this novel attempt is Sandalwood siren Divya Spandana (formerly 'Kuthu' Ramya), who had shared the screen space with the actor in his 2007 release 'Polladhavan'.
"Doing a short film for my friend Dhanush. He is an amazingly talented guy; a great actor and soon-to-be director," the actress posted as her status line on her homepage in a popular social networking site.
Meanwhile, sources have it that Dhanush's wife Aishwarya, who too was hinting at becoming a director, would help her husband in this project. "Some vital inputs may also come from Selvaraghavan and Kasthoori Raja," they add.
