Mapillai (2011) Movie - Dhanush and Hansika

A Tamil comedy drama film directed by Suraj, starring Dhanush, Hansika Motwani and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles. The film is an enhanced remake of the 1989 film of the same name, which starred Rajinikanth and Amala in the lead role.



The plot : Mapillai is all about the tiffs between the hero and his mother-in-law.

Jayam Ravi's "Engeyum Kaadhal" (Love is everywhere)

Few days back it was already reported that Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani starrer Prabhu Deva directed latest forthcoming flick 'Ich' has been renamed as 'Engeyum Kaadhal' (Love is everywhere) which was officially confirmed and announced by the film unit. It was also said that the audio of the film will be released on October 3rd at Sathyam Cinemas.

The movie is said to be a romantic musical entertainer and there is also a buzz that Prabhu Deva will be making his appearance in the starting of the film to introduce the characters of the movie played by Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani.

This film is a jolly and cheerful love film. Normally the man will have the love for woman but in this it is the just opposite. A woman loves a man. A girl who lives in France loves a boy who goes from here. The whole film was shot in France.

She also has a Hindi film entitled He: The Only One in where she will be essaying the role of a killer, hell-bent on taking revenge for her family.





Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor - The Real Luv Story. She played the role of Himesh Reshammiya's lover Ria. The film was released on 29 June 2007 and became a hit in India.



Hansika made her debut as a lead actress in the Kannada film Bindaas with Puneet Rajkumar. She paired with Jr. NTR in the film Kantri, which was released in May 2008. The film was a moderate hit. She is also making her Tamil film debut in the 2010 film Mappillai opposite actor Dhanush.

She is learning Tamil as she is making a debut in a Tamil film. She wants to be a leading actress in Tamil also.
